Morocco is a very interesting country in terms of biodiversity. Varied , the nature of the country includes desert, mountains and coastal areas.
 
There are about forty different ecosystems that include a wildlife (monkeys , wild boars, camels ... ) and flora ( argan trees , cedars, olive ... ) rich and varied. Birds have the spotlight with more than 400 species that coexist in the country.
 
Despite efforts begun around 1930 , natural biological heritage of the country is in danger. Indeed , economic development threatens forests and ecosystems, so most of the living species. That is why the government has long established protected areas ( over 140 ! ) Kind of national parks , nature parks, nature reserves and biological reserves .
 
National parks were created to preserve the biological and tourist attractions in Morocco. The main ones are the Al Hoceima park, Ifrane Park, Park Souss -Massa , the park and the park Tazekka Toubkal .
" The National Park of Al Hoceima

Located on the Mediterranean coast , near the city of AHoceima , Al -Hoceima National Park stretches over 300 km ². With a rocky coast , the park is home to many species of marine birds. The scenery is beautiful and the biological significance of the park , it seems exceptional.
 
" The Ifrane National Park
At the heart of the Middle Atlas , Ifrane province shines through the diversity of its landscapes , lakes and streams . Its natural resources make it an ideal tourist destination , especially for hiking and fishing.
Representative of the beauty of the Middle Atlas , the Ifrane National Park stretches over 500 km ². It is home to the largest forest of cedars of Morocco .
 
" The National Park Sous Massa
Just a few tens of kilometers of Agadir Under Massa National Park is home to over 200 species of birds and many species of reptiles , mammals and butterflies. It includes the largest colony of Northern Bald Ibis in the world.
Established in 1991 more than 300 sq km , the park shines through the diversity of its flora and fauna . The authorities are trying to reintroduce herds Saharan species disappeared from Morocco , including the dama gazelle mhorr .
 
" The National Park Tazekka
Near the town of Taza, Tazekka National Park is located in the northern part of the Middle Atlas . Created in 1950 and expanded in 1989, the park covers over 120 square kilometers and is home to waterfalls, caves and grottos to the delight of tourists interested in beautiful landscapes .
The park is dominated by the Jbel Tazekka top 1980m . This peak is of great interest since it is crowned by a forest of cedars very interesting biologically . From the top , the view of the valley and surrounding mountains is beautiful .
 
" The Toubkal National Park
Established in 1942, the Toubkal National Park is located in the High Atlas. At only 70 km from Marrakech, you can see the highest peaks of North Africa ( Toubkal 4167 m). Program: cliffs, gorges , lakes and streams giving life to unique landscapes. With a little luck, you might even make the meeting locals and enjoy their hospitality .

practical Information
" There are few rules in a natural park:
Respect the trees , plants and animals (do not pull the plants , do not feed or disturb the animals ) , do not make fires outside designated areas , do not leave garbage behind you, then please notify the park staff for all special event.

" Most of the parks and reserves of the country has a point home to inform visitors .

" If the observation of animals and birds in particular, you are interested, do not forget your binoculars.
